If you are a christian, then you must believe it.
So the next time you see a baby, an new born baby, if you are a christian, you must believe you are seeing a sinner. And will be a sinner unless he accepts christ.
(what a nice and loving religion is this one)

Funny thing is that, I may be mistaken, the bible says so, so if you are a God believing and fearing christian, that follows the bible, you must embrace the concept of original sin (even as you feel comforted that your faith in Jesus will save you).
It is a weird thing, a baby born with a sin.
Well I never tought that christians were sane anyway.

The concept of the original is really a tough one. I don't tend to believe it either. None of us asked to be born. We had no say in the matter. Thus when we come into existence, we cannot be automatically doomed or punished just because we were born. We have no knowledge of anything. I hope that god is not like that, because then this love that he has that we should believe in seems a bit far fetched.

I guess it would depend on how you view that question.

Ok I am a Christian, but I do not believe in Gneiss so that would cancel out the original sin bit. In fact, I do not put much stock in the Old Testament at all. I do believe and try to live by the New Testament. I know I tend to confuse people when I say that, but I have prayed on it and I feel very confident in my feelings.

Okay, how can you name yourself christian, if christians must follow both testaments? The old and new?
Is there any place in the bible were Jesus say something like : "Well folks, that old stuff is gone, don't have to take that in account"?
Unless so, it is very strange that someone cancel what makes him/her feel uneasy with.
