On Politicians and elections...

It's election season again on my country, and being a newly-registered voter, I had to make sure that my first-time voting is well worth it.
The problem comes when I choose who to vote for. I am not the only one in our country who will admit that most politicians here sucks. It's like choosing the lesser evil. Both are bad, and whether you choose or not, one of them is going to win and play an important part in your life (or not involve himself at all, which is probably more bad).
So I have to choose, whether to vote for one or abstain on the slot. When I vote, then that would be like I'll be supporting them. All their activities, their misdemeanors, their mistakes, I'll be condoning them.
But if I abstain, then do I have a right to complain later? Certainly not, because these politicians are not liable to me. I did not participate, therefore, I have no claim.
As a youth of my country, I had to think this dilemma through. After all, we'll be the one who's going to shoulder the fallout in the future.
