are we being paid per click for uploading our own pictures ??

first of all I want to say, I don't want you all to think I am being a meanie, I love it here on My lot and I have made some great new friends, and I hope to make a lot more, there are always questions on whether we get paid for pictures( photographs ) . well yesterday I posted a discussion about winning myself a manicure and I posted a picture with it of my new done hand looking so nice lol, I had a bit of a problem taking it but I managed, well quite a few of you clicked on the picture and commented on my manicure, but today my earnings for it were 0.01 cent so I think that proves we don't get any earnings when people click on the piccie we upload with our discussions, and as I said it was not googled, it was taken by my own fair hands, even when I have uploaded loads I still only get 0.01 cent, I still like to do it sometimes as I honestly like the look of it on the discussion but it takes quite a bit of time,I am going to put the 2nd of the 2 pics on ( NOT JUST AS CLEAR AS THE FIRST ONE THOUGH) and we will see what happens if you all take the time please to click on it too as a bit of an experiment, thank you all so much IN ADVANCE my very good friends xxxx

To be honest my friend, it's very rare that I will upload a picture, because it takes forever, having to upload the picture, add the tags, add the description after finding the photo, most of the time I forget, other times I just can't be bothered, it's not worth it. Sorry you didn't get what you expected but others enjoying seeing your photo, priceless!

I have experimented with this and I think the answer is no.
I would say that e.g. you upload 50 pics. The max you get is 50 cents but you will like get far less. I have read some discussions of others getting paid a few cents for each pic... no idea how they did it.

Hi weemam! I haven't really noticed and I don't know where to look to see if my pics have earned a few cents..lol. But I always take a look at my friends pic but not rate it. I will take a look again at your pics and rate them all. So with other friends. It will take long (my server and comp like to move at a snail's pace) but I'll get there. Add a comment or too perhaps. Let's see if you get credited for it weemam. I love your hands they look so much better than mine and I'm like 2 decades younger than you! I'm envious. Have a great day. Being relatively neew here in terms of posts and ratings .. I have not downloaded any photos at all but did read that we were supposed to get paid for photos downloaded into a discussion ... if the photo or image related to the discussion that is.
A friend here said she downloaded a lot of photos initially .... many of them her own but some from the internet. She got paid 2 cents for each image initially .. then it dropped back and after it stayed dropped back to 1cent she decided against downloading any more photos. She just said that it was not worth the time to do so for 1 cent ... said it takes as long for her to download one photo as it does for her to respond to a discussion ... and that generally gets her at least twice the amount as it does for the photo.
now sure about giving a rating on the photo ... whether or not it affects the earnings.

I visited the pic that you mentioned. Your write is about one sentence. I remember reading, one of our mylot members said that to earn well on your pic you should also have a good write up on the pic. I believe this could be a contributing factor for the low payment.

i uploaded some of my personal pictures but i didn't get anything from it then i uploaded for discussions..i think i get...then uploaded some downloaded pics i don't know got or not!!!got somthing but dont know its from upload discussion picturs...!!!
