Does watching "The First 48" intrigue or bother you?

This is one of my favorite reality crime shows on tv. Sometimes it is so graphic that it is a bit bothersome, but I love that the show allows you to get so involved in the homicide detective's job.
For those that watch, does the showing of the real murder victims' bodies disturb you at all?
What about when they don't arrest a suspect in the end and the case remains unsolved?

I love that show. I recently got into reality crime shows and this is has to be truly one of my favorites along with Forensic Files, Body of Evidence, Power Privilage and Justice. It's a shame though. They don't seem to be giving it that often anymore. It was truly a great show.

I love this show, it is also one of my favorite reality television shows. I don't become bothered by the showing of the real murder victims' bodies, I mean it is sad, but I am not disturbed by it. I find the show very interesting and love watching and learning how they solve/or do not solve the case. It is a great show.

I love this show because it lets you see real detectives solve real crimes, without all the glitz and glamour you see on made-up tv shows. Seeing the bodies does not bother me, maybe because unfortunately, I have had the experience of seeing people murdered in front of me, the first time as a very small child. The whole time I'm rooting that the crimes will be solved before the end of the show, but again, unlike the made-up crime shows, in reality this is not always possible. I'm hoping one day they will have a special where they give updates that weren't solved on the show!

I really like this show because it shows you that life is nothig to play with. You could be one of those people. It also open my eyes to how hard a detective has to search for a suspect and then when you know they are guilty how much evidence they have to gather to prove it. It is one thing to know the person is guilty but without enough evidence they cannot put the person in jail. I appreciate this show because I thought that most cops did not care they know the person is guilty but do not want to do anything about it. They really have a hard job.

Watching "The first 48" intrigues me especially because its real cases not actors. The graphic details don"t bother me much, but when the case goes unsolved yes! Especially if the episode was filmed somewhere close to home. Just knowing there is a murderer out there who was not caught, that bothers me.

This show is Superbly done. Very sad but intriguing. It doesn't both me because the way it is presented is very professional and just to "tell the story" It frustrates me when they dont find the suspect:( I worry that family will not get justice. It does kind of scare me to realize how violent the world is but hopefully it makes me better aware of myself, my friends & my surroundings. My favorite Detective was Joe Shillaci. Such an awesome man! I also like to read True Crime by Ann Rule. Fascinating stuff. I always wanted to be a Detective when I was little. I don't know if I could handle seeing those bodies in person though but those women on there do it because its for a good cause.
