My Chick Flick

Me and my friends are trying to make a really good chick flick for a contest in school. What makes a sweet flick? I mean, we know we need the clichee jelous boyfriend/girlfriend, the recovering alcoholic (or something like that, someone going through hard times), the jock, the looser, and some stuff like that. But what is missing, and how can we put all this together? Let your ideas flourish :)

you need something that hasnt been done before.
maybe an obsession with a celeb, a stalker type but innocent and they have a bf/gf who put up with it.
a popular person who no longer likes her friends and has become frinds with the class geek.
someone findin out they are adopted.
i cant think of anything else but good luck with you film
