First of all, welcome to myLot!
Secondly, I have a hard time trusting people in the real world, and it's so much harder trusting people online. It takes a lot to be my friend, as I'm very picky, but I do have a couple of friends that I trust, though.
About E-Love. Yes, it's very possible. Also very probable, as people get to know each other more and more.

I nevrr used to trust anyone I met online but then i joined mylot and started making friends and some really good ones. But recently one of them scammed me now I am again distrustful and do not want to trust. then I think one's deed should not deter me from trustin other friends. I wish I had never met that person ever.

it is imperative not to trust easily. may i be in the cyberworld or in real life. Trust is so hard to find and develop but it can easily be broken. But i dont close my doors to people in the cyberworld. I know there are real people who are honest and trustworthy in this world. It just about being careful of who to trust.

I have a really hard time trusting people in the "real" world so online is so much worse. There are some people that I talk to on the regular basis. A couple of them I might consider friends. But then again, I really don't use the internet to meet people, for the most part. I did join mylot in order to meet some like minded people so that I could stop thinking that I was the only person on the planet that feel the way I do. I also joined mylot to pretty much babble on about things that I find interesting and of course the spare change I get as a reward. :)
For me I don't believe that E-Love is possible. But this is my own personal opinion. I have run into so many fake people that I just don't even want to think about trying to find a mate. I have to say though my friend's mother met her current boyfriend online and they have been living together for I think 4 years now and he is the best thing that ever happened to her. So I have to say that for the right person-elove is possible. :)

I trust some people and not others ... on mylot for instance, I have been around a few friends that I consider reliable ... the start rating is also a good indicator
I usually don't trust people on other forums though
About E-love ...
It depends on what you call e-love I guess... but if you mean can you fall in love with someone you met online and meet and so on ... then I would say yes because that is exactly how I met my husband
I met him online in a chatroom ... first we were friends, then a little more ... then we decided to meet and it was there!!! Now we are married, got a little one and as happy as we could be!!!

I have made two good male friends and one female friend on the internet. Outside of that I don't trust anyone. My 2 male friends are outside the USA and my female friend lives in the states. I have been invited to go out on dates with men in California where I reside and I always decline. I tell them after I get to know them better on the internet we can meet somewhere and my daughter of 43 will chaperone. The internet is a great way to meet people but one must be very careful as there are some weirdos out there.
