Where did you and your partner meet for the 1st time?

My husband and I met for the first time during a job interview. I applied a position at company and he happened to be the manager who interviewed me. One week after that, he called me and asked me out. I didn't even remember his face at that time. We then met at a restaurant, and since then we were going out together. A lot of our friends says that the way we met is like a mirracle. We've been married for 2.5 years now.

This is the story that gets us a lot of funny looks so we don't tell it very often. My s/o and I first met when I was 17 and he was almost 31. It was August 1996. I was dating the brother of one of his friends and we'd gone to his house to hang out. Over the next few years we got to be friends too. He was always there for me (and my husband)when my marriage (to the one I was dating when we met) got rocky. After it fell apart 6 years ago, he was literally all I had left. Our friendship turned into something more and 6 years later (technically in one month) we have 3 little boys and things are looking up for us. It's been hard at times but we always come back together in the end. I'm not sure if it was one of us or the other that "made the first move". It was more of a mutual connection that compelled us both.

it was in a cybernet cafe where he was at that time working... i was printing my school project and because i have a lot of friend from other shops, and thru YM, we met, became friends... and lo! it just happened... i think he asked me out first... n_n

My husband and I met for the first time in and airport when he came to stay with me for Christmas lol. We had been chatting on line for 3 months and this was our first face to face meeting and we were both so nervous.He flew 2000 miles to spend the holidays with me and my family. I'll never forget we were kissing at the luggage pickup and this older gentlemen said wow you must not have seen each other for awhile and John winked and said I have never met here before in my life lol. Everyone laughed and we explained. We have been together for 4 great years now but i will never forget watching that plane land and the butterflies in my stomach Cheryl

I met my boyfriend in the game online. We played together. He was very shy and didn't talk much. As I was being a talkactive person in the game (actually it was my hand that very talkactive!).. so I always asked him something and opened the topics.. then we were going to chat by SMS.. First I made a friend with him. I never thought to be his girlfriend or something, because I just felt like a friend.. in addition, he sometimes shared about his classmate that he liked. And after we became friend about 10 months, he never shared about his classmate again. and after a few weeks, he told that he was more excited with me.. and then he told that he liked me. Because of I never thought about it, I can't give him the answer. Besides, I never saw his photos and never met him because he was in another town. So, we just a very close friend.. and after 8 months later, he said again.. and I answered yes.. ^-^
