A VERY strange thing happened to me the yesterday...

I am a Christian and I do not believe in superstitious things at all. I truly believe in God's power and His complete control over things. I got one of those e-mails from a friend that said "make a wish and e-mail this to 5 people, etc.". It then said that my phone would ring after I made the e-mails and it would ring in the same amount of minutes as my age (in my case that would be 28 minutes since I'm 28). I fell asleep shortly after I e-mailed 5 people. I normally don't even recieve these types of e-mails, they usually go straight to my SPAM box and I don't even see them. If I get them, I usually don't follow through with them but I just felt compelled to this time. So - I made my wish, which is to be able to stay home and raise my kids (I have a 15 month old and I'm due in May with #2). It wasn't 28 minutes, but it was less than an hour after I sent out the e-mail a friend called about me becoming her business partner. I'm not sure about it - I'm going to get together with her soon to find out more. I have a really good feeling about it for some reason. Very little investment and the person who got her involved in the business is doing really really well. The other very strange part about this whole thing is that this woman has become a Christian since the last time I spoke with her. I'm a devout Christian and she really needs someone to help disciple her, which I didn't know until the other day. If nothing else I think this will be a great spiritual journey for the both of us - a great opportunity for us to grow in Christ. God sure works in mysterious ways!

Yes, God does work in mysterious ways. I am not superstitios either, but I believe God gives us urgings to follow His lead. I'm not sure about the whole email thing, your friend probably would have called anyway. But anyway, I hope the business thing turns out the way you hope.

Yeah - the e-mail thing borderlines superstition - you're right, she probably would have called anyways. I guess the timing of it all just really freaked me out. I'm so excited about this business - I have to wait 4 days to find out more and I'm even having a hard time doing that!
