hi! My mother was recently found to have a myoma. I researched about this and found out that the reason of the growth is the repeatedly reproduction of a single cell in the uterus then creates a rubbery mass in the neighboring tissues. It eased my mind when I've learned that myoma is not really cancerous. At least now, I'm not worried to get my mom be operated. The growth of myoma stops when the menstrual cycle stops as well, or when menopause starts, the article added. The growth of myoma is indced by the hormone estrogen, the article said, and during menopause, estrogen drops.

i have myoma its like a cyst like thing and is present to everyfemale who have a monthly period and its not cancerous and this cyst will go away upon menopause that is if it will not grow larger and very uncomfortable(painful), if it is..then you may opt to remove it for surgery..
