I delete my temporary internet files & my history of webpages visited. I know it says that it keeps them there to help the pages load faster, but is this really the case? I find that if I have them on hand, it can take a while to load up. What do you think about it?

They say you should delete your cookies and history once a week I usually do but I save the places I go to the most on bookmarks.I don't really notice alot of difference though.Mine load up pretty quickly and I have DSL.

It also slows the internet down when to many files get loaded into the history, cookies and internet file to the point pages can not be displayed. I see this all the time with my clients it helps if you are using IE 7 to set day to keep pages in history at 0 and unter tempory internet file disk space to use as 8mb. It is also best to clear them out daily by deleting history, cookies and internet file daily if you use the internet.
