I think that they are not good as we all know that small children pick up the skill or behaviour of anything faster than adults.
The stunts in these cartoons or movies are made by stuntmen or by animation. These stunts are copied by the small children which are harmful to their life.
what are your views about this??????????

Well first off, there is a huge difference between the movies and the cartoons. Those movies are far too advanced for children of that age.
The problem with the cartoons is the varied series involving those characters. Would I let kids of that age watch the Spiderman of the 70s, or the Batman of the 60s, sure, they were more comedic that violent. It is only the more recent cartoon versions that have edged close to "reality" in their level of violence.
Still, used to hear this about Bugs Bunny cartoons, and those toons turned out the peaceniks of the hippie generation. I rather believe the effect is over-rated.

i agree with your observation. i too don't like my son to watch this kind of cartoon at his present age. 3 or 4 year old should watch educational cartoons like Dora, Handy Manny or other Nicolodeon cartoons.
I would let my son watch spiderman, batman or superman cartoons when he is maybe 8 or 10 years old.
