i think young people don't want to get married because they feel that they haven't enjoyed being single yet. they are still in a certain age that all they wanted is to go out and enjoy being free.
getting married will change their lifestyle as a whole. they may also be aware that getting married is very difficult especially if you are not yet ready and mature to enter this phase of life.

I think marriage is very scary for many young people today, because there is such a high rate of separations and divorces. Many men and women are also worried that things will change, because they often do. They may have seen family members or friends losing plenty over time. The church has also changed along with different morals. I think this may have had an impact on the amount of marriages today.

They don't want to get married because they're too young in the first place. Second is that most of the young couples we know tend to separate after a couple of years and then there's the baby to think of.
SOme who got pregnant don't even want to get married anymore because they're not ready for a commitment. They don't want to marry just because they got pregnant.

My sons are 23, 21 and 19. They don't even have a girlfriend yet. by their age i was married. My oldest son has made his career in the army. he likes being there. My middle son's working on his college degree and thats all he has time for. My youngest son never goes anywhere so he doesn't meet anyone. I have no clue why things have changed but they have.

Well, it is really not the case, young people don't want to get involved in marriage, because they aren't ready yet to commit their life in family, or they see something like here in the philippines, our economy is becoming unstable and our country is poor, so young people here, thinking about their own future. And also they want to finish their studies and be able to go on abroad to work and earn more money.

According to me marriages are made in heaven. I think for each and every person there is somebody selected. The difference is that someone is going around and the rests are waiting. But now a days thinkings have been changed. Most of the people think that if they r involved in marriages they will not get independency. so they ignore marriages but have affairs and can carry on with it till last.

they are afraid of marriage .
For one hand, high divorce rate let us afraid of this.
For another hand, we like single life more.
However, marriage can also bring you happy, when you fall in love, why not married ?

Welcome to mylot!
Most young people do not want to get married because they see the effet of marriage in our society. They may have seen the negative effects of it, i.e divorce, separation, quarrels and etc. Most of the couples do not take marriage seriously and end up in separation. That is my opinion. But still others may be looking for that special person or maybe they just want to live life firt without any obligations but to themselves before going inot the bond of marriage so that they can concentrate on rearing up a family in the future.
