Do use a social bookmarking site?

I am asking this because I just had to reformat my hard drive and only afterwards did I realize that I forgot to save my favorites onto my backup dvd. :(
Now I have lost all my favorite websites and I can´t help but think that I should have used a site like digg or something similar. sigh. Hindsight is 20/20. So, what bookmarking sites do you use and why?

When it comes to social bookmarking, I prefer Stumbleupon. Easy to use and you will also have the chance to discover great sites aside from meeting new friends that share your interest. If you don’t want to join social bookmarking download aol internet browser. It has a great feature that no other browser had. Online bookmarking save all your favorite websites and you can access it anywhere in the world provided you sign up an AIM account to use that special feature.

I only use social bookmarking to submit my blogs, usually. I have a few of my bookmarks on Digg and Delicicos but I rarely look at them. Now that you have shared what happened to you, I think I will value those sites more, and get my other bookmarks on them more often!!
