Yipee....yesterday was a really warm sunny day. Just like winning a jack pot, everybody rushed to the beach, swimming pool, and the lakes just packed with people sailing. Everybody happy and smiling... which you'll hardly see during cold winter days.
We were also headed to the beach and we also went to see flowers field or more like carpets. All you can see from miles and miles away was all colourful tulips, narcissen, etc.
But this time of the year is kinda unusual for us. And we heard from the news last night, that yesterday is one of the warmest day (28 celcius) in april we ever had in our history.
Wauw..... last yar we didn't even have a real winter. It is more like winter = spring and spring = summer. How's your country weather ??? Do have this fenomenal weather happening ???

Our weather has been frequently extreem. We too have had a recent warm and sunny week, followed by rain and chilly weather. We've had thunder stormes, high winds, flooding, and just last month it was snowing. We even had a thunderstorm and snow at the same day. We've had so much rain that there is no where for the water to go into the ground. While we had a somewhat mild winter, we also had extreemly cold days and extreemly warm days during the same season.
Today it is springlike, beautiful sunshine and blue skies. But it won't last.

Wow. You must really be concerned about global warming and the melting of the ice caps. I try to make people aware that there are things we can and must do to slow that and I often think of Holland's vulnerability.

Speaking of rain, that's also one of the problem we were having this year and Holland is just below sea level. Couple hours of rains enough to drown half of the house. I'm glad that the city where I live didn't really have that problem otherwise we have to start thinking about how to live under water....hehehe....

I think there's definitely some weather problems going on here too. In Singapore, lately, it would be all sunny and warm, very hot..... suddenly in midday or late evening it would rain as heavy as possible... People are getting sick, especially young children, due to the on off weather here. It's really weird.... I believe that this is due to global warming effect.... Heard that in Europe the weather is pretty funny. I think we have to brace ourselves for further changes... eerie isn't it!!

You are right about that !!! We do have some problems with weather. In Europe the weather is still pretty funny but I guess that goes the same in Singapore and other part of the world too. It's pretty scary when I think of it....indeed.

Thank you for denoting my response as best response. Due to this haywire weather now in Singapore, there is a new strain of the flu virus. Children are worst hit. They have prolonged high fever, runny nose and cough. I am most worried about this as my younger child has developed a flu...Boo-Hoo and Sigh... :

Well lets see im in Minnesota in USA. Last week we had a snow storm and now this week its all melted and its sunny and 60 so yeah we have some interesting weather here too.

Gosh...I've heard about too. Hope you guys were doing just fine and healthy. Up till today, the weather here kinda funny too...I don't think I'll be able to put the winter/thick jackets in the closet for a while. The weather can just switch anytime....

OHHHH NOOOO we have 45 to 50 degree Temperature We are so much different in situation from your country. We like Winter more then Summer, and we have all seasons of world in our country and we enjoy every season.

I've been disappointed with the weather 4 days ago, the 1st 2 days of 4 days ago was real hot and sunny but I couldn't go to the beach because I had that time of the month, the next 2 days it was finished and it's been cloudy... I so want to go to the beach but it's been cloudy these days. When I couldn't go it was sunny and hot );

You sounds like my husband and my brother in law....they always complained about that too. Whenever he got day off from work, the weather is against him. While the whole week before, it was nice warm sunny day but not the day he took day off....snick...snick....

we have been having phenominally bad weather for the past 2 weeks nothing but rain and cold nights. It has been unusually cold at this time of the year. Even the flowers are budding a bit later if you ask me and we are waiting for the summer to come knocking at our doors soon. hope we get lucky. We did have a short winter but I guess we have paid enough by now, Global warming is killing us!
