I enjoy reading collections of short stories. They usually only take twenty minutes to an hour to read, so I can get one in before I go to bed. Not all authors can write decent short stories, however. It mostly seems to be the mystery or science fiction authors who have mastered the art. I guess that makes sense, since these are the two genres that have magazines dedicated to publishing short stories.
