Things you cannot solve using your strength can be solved using your knowledge. In other words, Pen is mightier than sword.

There is no decease for those who know to eat, there is no fight for those who knows to speak. In this context I agree that Pen is mightier than sword. We can chase the cowards with sword, but good knowledge is required to keep the strong silent.
