How much is too much when you kids come home from week to week with things to sell or doing things to raise money for the schools? I am tired of it.

I feel sorry for the mums of today with having to raising money for something different each week, I certainly didn't have to do this when my children were at school. I wonder if this is pretty much what goes on in schools around the world. I know the children feel terrible if you don't give money or your time to these projects.

I don't mind it. These fundraisers are for good causes. I usually just pick one cheap thing to buy and do that. I also hit up my parents and my sisters, but I make sure they know they are not obligated to buy every single thing.
I guess it does get tiring sometimes, but I just buy something small and go on with it. :)

I hear you. It only gets worse the older they get. I have one more year for school age kids. Thank heavens. I just wish they wouldn't have to have so many in one year. My daughter usually is doing about three at a time. I know I have another one coming up for golf. They will be raising money for golf balls with the school logo on it. I think its a waste of time for that. I was glad she decided not to go on her senior trip because they have done a ton of stuff. Her friends keep coming to us because they know she's not going.
I can't wait for it to be over. Hang in there. I know enough is enough
