You have to download the OS anbd the download the service packs to update the OS. If you just need the XP Service pack 2, you can download it from the microsoft web site - www.microsoft.com. There is no legal free version of the XP OS. If you find one it is illegal and chances are it will not work properly and possiblly mess up your computer.
