I have noticed many discussions here in mylot which are inclined to one big issue: INTERNET SCAMS. Many mylotters post about certain earning sites which they're not very certain about - in fact I am one of them. I have once posted about the site www.500cents-500dollars.org and I'm very glad that I have immediately found out that it was a great scam - thanks to mylotters. You? Have you ever been a victim of INTERNET SCAMS?? Please do tell us. You might just help us avoid bad sites!

Yep. I tried to join an autosurf site in the hopes of earning fast cash. The site is www.tksurf.com and it was posted in talkgold.com. I was inclined to join because there were reports of some members who joined who already got paid. I thought, what the heck, it's only 5 dollars. Well, needless to say and with my unlucky streak, the site closed down in just 3 days after I've joined. I'm usually careful with this stuff but I guess I forgot to do my homework, oh well, chalk that up to experience.

Well, I guess that's one great lesson you've learned. But well, as you've said, chalk it up to experience. I just hope we dont fall to sites of that sort again. Thanks for this response!

Oh yeah ,you will know if your read my discussions. I had joined a site one month ago which seems to be quite good, but things turned out badly few weeks ago when the site folded up suddenly, the ysay they will open when they fix up the problem, but I do not see any point they need to close down for so long ,the only reason is they will never be opened again. I will consider it as a scam. I also read a discussion about the site you post in another discussions.

It's really sad that you have become a victim of such a site. I hope you could mention the actual name of the site just so in case they open again, we know that this site is of no worth to land on. Thanks for this response!

This is another scam. Buyebarrel. The scam report appeared in the local paper claiming that people losing about 120k. Great amount, right. I'm lucky for not playing the game. Up to now, the angry player still looking forward to get their money back. Some expert misused their knowledge to cheat others, but so far, nothing can be done about this, it's the way they make money, by robbing the people softly ... no comment.

HYIPS, autosurfs, MLMs, Matrixs, Pyramids, you name it, I most likely fall for one... Yes I know, not too bright. I didn't lose much though and the lessons learned are valuable too. Sometimes you can never really tell, sitting on the other side of the net could be the real deal or a scammer. End of the day, the golden rule keeps me safe, Never invest more then you can afford to lose.

I agree. There really are times when you really cant tell. I think your 'golden rule' is great - maybe we should all start thinking about that all the time! Thanks for this response!

I am a victim efore of goldposter, greennation, payposter and now dormcheck. They have not paid members after we have nearly accumulated the minimum payout. They just leave the forum and all of which turns out to become a scam already.

Oh especially in the early days of my interent money making escapades. I lost over 3,000 bucks in all to various sites, but now I do a lot of due diligence and am very happy to report that 98 per cent of what I have been involved in the past year and a half have born good fruit for me. It is upwards and onwards now.

yes. it's always better to study the program and research about it before spending time to do online jobs as such. most of them are merely promises and they don't really pay at all.

I have never been scammed on the internet. I don't trust the internet much because you hear about all of these scams going on. If I don't get a good reference from a friend I don't give a site my information.

Although I have found many sites that where scams I have only fell for a few. The first was payposter which did pay me once then the site stopped paying and shut down. Then there was surf junkie and any of you's who know this program know forsure its a scam. I worked the site for 2 weeks and was 1 dollar away from pay out when my account all the sudden didnt exist anymore. I think its frusterating when you join up for these programs and they let you get so close to pay out then screw you. Oh well karma will eventually get these losers who are out to rip everyone off.

I am really hoping that they'll receive the bad karma for all their doings - as soon as possible. We should really be very careful nowadays because earning sites really are just flooding around. Thanks for this response!

Yes, I am always checking my lotter's post to find out the earning sites, if more than 1 person says one website is a scam, I wonn't that firm! I know some evil scams exit all over. So I only chose 2-3 site I trust in.And try. Mylot is one of my trying now.

I just lost seven dollars after a report that was promoted by a mylotter only and I am so sad, I liked the person a lot but never thought he will do that. I did get the report but he didn't mention that I wont get any resale rights till I pay up another forty seven dollars and moreover, I have no clue who else to sell that report to and since I didn't find anything extraordinary in the report, Its like after getting duped I go out and dupe few of my friends. I am so upset about loosing my hard earned money over this.

Dear vesuvius I'm searching about online jobs last 7 o 8 months. But proud to say that I was not scammed from any site because I was very careful. During my search I found plenty of sites which were asked for money to register. I thought if we are going to work for them, then why should we pay for that. I would say 99% of the paying sites are scams. I heard that lots of people get scammed. Why is it this happened? The answer is, your careless. Just think twice before you pay for a site. Just ask form others (May be in MyLot) about the site you are going to pay. If we keep our carfulness, nobody can scam us. Everybody should remember that. Because of these reasons and to get online job seekers into good sites I have created a web site including legimate online job links. Please visit it on http://www.workonlinejobs.info and tell me what do you think about my effort. Give me your ideas and other good sites that were missed by me. And also you can join with sites you never joined so far. Let's exchange good sites among us. Thaks.

I have never been a victim of that but someone did once try to pretend they wanted to buy 400 items from me from AVON and pay me with a credit card after I would ship the items somewhere overseas. While I wanted to make the commission on that sale, it sounded too good to be true and it really was. Good thing I didn't fall for it I would be in big trouble now, owing Avon several thounsand $$$$$.
