PLEASE...someone tell me what happened

in the last half hour of the premiere. I was recording it on my DVR, because I was in the middle of a Buffy season 7 marathon. For some reason, it didn't record the last half hour. It just...stopped. It basically stopped recording after Alex got in the truck with that guy. PLEASE someone let me know what happened.
I'll be recording it again tonight because I have to work. I hope it doesn't do that again. I'll be mad.

They were setting up the teams, and getting everyone a partner. It's alot like the amazing race. They have to pass certain check points before a time line. My two favorite are the to brothers, and the Dying father and daughter team.

2 suggestions:
First is bit torrent, downloads for tv shows can be found at http://www.eztvefnet.org/ . Most shows that are broadcast are posted later that night or the next day so you can watch it if you missed it, and usually with no commercials.
Second is to go to Fox networks web pages, I'm not sure if they have the video online there but they have recaps and usually a forum of what went on.
I watched it and I'll tell you just reading it or hearing it from someone isn't enough. You have to watch it.

I think this show is really awesome so far and I am definately looking forward to this season. Prison Break is one of my favs and I am glad they put something equally good in its spot for the spring/summer. Hopefully your DVR worked tonight as I hope mine did also. Sometimes they get a little screwy which is very frustrating.
