if you are really interested in getting information it would help to give more information on your location within germany germany might seem small (and daytrip-like) but it is very diversified. you would get different recommandations depending on where you are located most foreign army bases are in the south so you might as well check out the castles in bavaria or along the rhine river if you are in frankfurt paris is only a short way (especially fast by train) you see its hard to give an answer i myself live in the west close to cologne (which is a great city to see) so if you are interested in towns/areas here let me know and i share my knowledge i hope you enjoy your stay and please give the german language a try i am sure it will help you to have a great time. dont make the mistake most army members do by not getting in touch with germans
