Sometimes you still need a night alone!

Friday, April 13th. A terrible day. A day I needed to truly just take care of myself and nobody else! Selfish? Maybe, but a girl's gotta do what a girls gotta do. They say if the wife isn't happy, ain't nobody happy. So the husband is out of town, the kids are spending the night else where and whala....I have the evening all to myself! Enter my friend. My best girlfriend. My evening would not be complete if she didn't spend it with me and we did what makes us feel the best. We got dressed up, went to a little Korean resturaunt that served the very best food and was so quiet. As a mom of two, quiet is very nice! Then we left came to my house, started season Five Of SexandTheCity while sipping on our premixed Cosmos. I could not have had a better evening. I didn't have to tend to anyone elses needs, I had great conversation, and Carrie and Samantha managed to put me back in touch with my Independent Woman side. It was all a small price to pay for my husband having his now sane wife back and I have promised that I will do that again!
