I've played sims 2 for a while. I've heard that Maxis has released a game called sims life stories. Has anyone played this? Would it be a good addition to having sims 2 (and all extension packs). Or should I just forget it and just play sims 2? What is the difference?

I love the Sims 2. I have "open for business" and "pets". I, also, would love to see the posts for 'life stories". I have to admit to using the money cheat...I can't stand for my people to do without...

I thought about getting it for my daughter to play but decided against it. Life Stories is a completely different game then Sims 2. It is not an add on, just a regular game so you don't need Sims 2 to play it. It is more mission based I think, like the console games. Meaning you are given goals and have to complete them before moving onto the next thing.

I love the Sims so I look forward to see what responses you get here because I was considering buying that too. I did enjoy Hot Date, Making Magic and the business one a lot so probably anything they come out is pretty good.
It is a very addictive game, isn't it? Doesn't leave much time for mylot. Haha!
