My husband is wonderful!

So what is the secret to your success? My husband and I have been married 10 years this year. We still hold hands on occasion, but he wasn't much for PDA's to begin with. Be both have "problems" with each other and sometimes I wonder whether I settled for less. I feel like such a burden on him sometimes because of my illness and my inability to work. Is he a Prince? Hardly. But am I a Princess? Not! I guess we just have to accept each other's little imperfections. We love each other and we both know neither one of us is going anywhere.

I love hearing things like this! It is wonderful to hear success stories about happy marriages. Thanks for posting this. Too often we hear such sad stories of divorce and so on, that it is disheartening. I like to hear things that make me happy!

21 years, let me start by saying congratulations:-) I think it's great that you and your husband enjoy one another as much as you say, even after all those years. I believe the secret to that in most cases is to make sure you keep the lines of communication open & validate one anothers feelings. (God Bless, you & yours)

I think this is a good discussion topic. I am 25 and not married. I have a 5 years old bf, and i am not sure if he is the one. But the topic interests me, I will drop by to read more often.

Mine is wonderful too. We've been married for 18 years and i feel that each day our love goes stronger. We're still very sweet to each other, in fact much sweeter than when we started considering that we have kids ages 16,15,8 and 7 years. We have come to the stage that we are very secured with our feelings with each other, we trust each other very much. He still gives me teddy bears on special occassion. Our secret? We understand each other including our differences. I think, the wives play an important role in a successful marriage.Do you think so? To add, my husband doesn't have any vice and stays at home when not at work.Lucky me!My husband doesn't give me any headache.

Congratulations for 21 wonderful years Mirita! My husband and I will be celebrating our 14th year in October and I can also say that I have found my soulmate in him. We have been blessed with four boys and our years together can only be described to be filled with happiness despite the every now and then misunderstandings. He is my best friend in the whole world and the person I run to whenever I need answers to problems or simply hugs and kisses when I feel down. I thank God that He has let this special man enter and make my life so much better :)

Hi Mirita, Yeah, I think you are really very lucky. I always admire those couples who have married for years, but still hold hands. It's so sweet!! I always think that you are not looking for a perfect partner, but a partner who matches with you perfectly, and two of you can be just a very good match. That's good enough. ^_^

My husband is amazing as well. We also hold hands, snuggle up together at movies, ... He still opens doors for me which I love. When I'm in the kitchen, he'll wrap his arms around me, and I'll turn around and we kiss. I love the way he'll put his arm around my waist, when it's unexpected either when we're walking or when we are visiting friends or family. I always can't wait to see him and spend time with him. I love being with him and sharing stuff with him. He's definitely my best friend.

i am so blessed having my husband he is a most loving, considerate, thoughtfull, good provider, and most specialy a prayerful man.. We have been married for almost 22 years and our marriage is running smoothly with God in our midst.. and am so thankful that God gave this man to me...

My husband and I have been married for almost 5 years! It will be 5 years in June. We still love one another very much and although we do struggle income wise we still manage to do things we enjoy. We don't have kids, but someday we will. My husband is my very best friend, and I still tingle when we say I Love You to one another. I feel very lucky. My husband is my everything, he is my inspiration to do things.
