my botfriend says i have to many pets i have 10 rats 2 males 8 females 2 dogs 1 chug 1 chi.and 3 cats. i breed rats and my cats are rescue. do you think i have to many pets

It all depends on what you and the animals are happy and healthy with! I have 2-4 dogs (when my son's bring their two over), 3 cats, 4 chickens, a rainbow boa, pink toe tarantula, 2 umbrella cockatoos, and 130 gallon saltwater reef fish tank plus we plan to add more when we build our house on our 24 acres, at the very least some horses and rabbits. We're all happy this way!

thats no too bad. i have a friend who has 11 dogs (9 of them inside) a chinchilla, a ferret, a rabbit and a fish tank.

I say "too many" is relative. For some idiots in this world I think ONE pet is too many! Will your finances support this many pets properly including routine and emergency vet care? Are you able to give all of them enough time and attention? Are you so busy caring for them that it adversely affects your quality of life or health in any way? Are all the pets happy, healthy, & well fed? If all of that is ok I don't think you have too many.
