i have had accupunture done in the past and it fixed my problem. i believe it works. how, i dont know. i just had craniosacral therapy done last week and as silly as it sounded to me, i think that it works too. i am thinking about getting ear candling done and just wondering if anyone has had any alternative therapies done and did it work for you? i think that most of them do work. i guess it depends on the therapy and the person. i would love to hear what others think.

yes, i agree with you. i am taking up psychology and i have learned that the health status of a person can sometimes depend on his or her view or perspective in life. if a person is optimistic, he or she can have more chances of getting well by holistic therapy. but if he or she is hesitant or reluctant and more on the pessismistic side, then that person may have lesser chances of getting healed holistically. :)
