Violence on university campuses is getting out of control. It seems as if the numbers of tragedies are increasing rather than decreasing. I can remember back when I was in school the campus on security was nearly void. What's it going to take, or how many people have to die, before schools start to take a genuine interest and concern for the safety of its students? What else might be done to ensure the safeguarding of students besides increasing security staff?
