Do Best Responses Matter? / myLot

I'm just wondering....in terms of how much you earn on mylot...if the amount of best responses you have matters? I know that probably nobody knows the answer to this question, but what do you think? And I am talking about when you reply to someone else's discussion and they give you a best response. Opinions?

I think it matters because you get higher ratings ( the star beside our names ) and bigger reward for posting the best response.

I think they matter- At least to me they do-- that means that someone thought that my response was quality enough and answered the question the best to give me best response. I also think that it matters money wise also- I cannot prove it- but it seems some days I make more money for posting the same amount of posts-- I usually check and I have best responses that day- So I would like to think the 2 are tied.. Of course this is just my opinion.
