my friend told me that whenever she has a headache, she'd just drink iced tea and then she would be instantly relieved. i'm just wondering if that just applies to her or to other people as well. i havent tried it yet but i'm curious if it does cure headaches. please share your experiences.

Iced tea has caffeine in it. Sometimes if you body is going through caffeine withdrawals you will get a headache. Drinking the tea will replenish your body with caffeine - and bye bye headache.

Yes it is true, but not b/c it is tea - it is because of the caffeine. I sometimes grab an ice tea to cure a headache, other times a soda works too. Coffee works if you must but it's a little strong for me.
Now here's the bad part - while caffeine helps a headache, too much caffeine can actually cause headaches in the long run. If you get addicted to tea or soda, overtime you won't be able to go a day without it otherwise you will get a headache. My fiance has this problem sometimes when he has soda multiple times a day for weeks. Then it's really hard for him to cut back b/c he gets major headaches. However, once he manages to cut back for a week, his headaches eventually go away.
So I guess the answer is: If you really need to get rid of the headache, have some caffeine... but if you can live through it, then try to suffer until it goes away so you don't get hooked!
