Hi there, i was just in desperate need of some advice on my horse who has been diagnosed with ringbone. He's got exceptionally good bloodlines, and comformation. I'm not sure if that makes any difference in this case. About two weeks ago he was diagnosed with this ringbone disease and i've been advised to have him putdown within a month! This is absolutely devastating news for me and my family. I was just curious as to know if this is a common disease and if there's any treatments for quite and advanced case. I understand it would be virtually impossibe to do a diagnosis over the phone but i just need to know if it would be advisable to get a second opinion, or is to have them put down due to this disease common practice?? He doesnt get ridden and has quite a relaxing lifestyle.. I certainly dont want him in any pain as he has the most georgous personality and i couldnt handle seeing him lose his spirit! kind thanks for any information you could give me Emma timmins
