i've got NO mobile phone and i don't care!

of course i have mobile phonesLOL. mobile phones are everywhere. we see it in the palms of almost everybody; on CEOs', on middle class employees', on students', heck, even in the hands of cigarette vendors! i am just wondering, are there people here in my lot who does not own a cellular phone? if so, why do you choose not to have one?

yes, there are. i know one who is my bf's colleague, a teacher in university. and she is a strange person. she always carried a big rucksack on his back which is big enough to hide a child. and she wear her hair in a long plait to her hip. her dresses are distinctive as well. she never use mobilephone. but she is good at teaching, and her students likes her very much.

i have one because my son & his wife gave it to me for christmas 2 or 3 years ago. it's one where u have to pay for your minutes which is best for me because i very seldom use it. i'm home most of the time but i do try to remember to take it w/me if i go out but half the time i forget it. i'm always alone so i think it would be good if i had car trouble or whatever. i would have never bought one for myself but am glad to have it.i do most of my long distance calling on it which is very little of that i do. think my sons would rather forget their drawers than their phones. they are constantly on them.

I do have a cellphone. I had a cellphone since my fourth year college. That is three years ago.
When I don't had a cellphone, I just borrow my classmates phone (hehe). And it works for me. I just needed a cellphone in my fourth year because I became the editor in chief of our student publication and I need to be on call when something happens.
Maybe a lot of people above 50 don't have cellphone because they don't care. They have landline phones and that's ok with them.
