what is barrows?

to complete barrows, you would need to at least have 43 prayer to go through effectively, though the higher prayer is better as it will last longer. to get to the barrows area, you will need to go to where the shades of mort'ton quest start is, walk through the village eastwards and over a bridge, walk north then east again untill you come to an area with 6 hill type mounds. each mount is the grave of the barrow brothers. stand at the top of a mound and dig with a spade, this will place you inside next to a coffin, with your appropriate prayer turned on, you will then need to open the coffin. a ghost of one of the brothers will pop out and immediately attack you, kill him then move on to the next mound, keep repeating this until you have found the one coffin that has only a tunnel in it. you can either go in straight away, or kill all 5 brothers that are in their mounds. it is better to kill them in the mounds as if you go straight into the tunnel, they will be in there somewhere and will attack you if you come across them. 4 of the brothers melee, one is mage and the other a ranger. inside the tunnel, you will have to navigate your way around to find a chest, there are amny doors, but in each room there is generally only one door you can open other than the door you entered by. some doors have puzzles you will need to solve to pass, they are fairly easy though. there are monsters in there that will attack you, but they aren't of very high lvls, so they aren't much to worry about. when you get to the chest, you will get your reward, though try not to be too hopeful, when i have done barrows the best things i got were runes and blot racks... it uses up alot of prayer potions and food, so hope that your reward can compensate you for the loss.

The barrows is a minigame in Morton. You have to find your way through the barrow and defeat the armors owner in order to get the reward which could be a piece of the armor. At your level should be able to make at least one pass through per trip. You'll have to play several times to get a full set.
