The thing that I like the most about dogs is their loyalty towards their owner.Well personally I consider a dog as my companion with whome I can share my life.I used to do this when my dog was alive , I just used to consider him as a person with whom I will talk and say my feelings.I used to play with him and he also responded with the same feeling. He would show his affevtion by jumping and hugging me , licking my feet.Dogs are really wonderful pets, they are much more then freinds or relatives for their owners. It is the place that they earn by their affection and loyalty towards their owners.

I believe what makes a dog special for us is the unconditional love that they give us. I think there is no pet more loyal than a dog. We have a small dog who is part chiwawa and part tibetan spaniel. I love everything about him from wagging his tail, his innocent face and his teary eyes. He is adorable.

dogs just don't look sweet. they really are sweet especially if you are the one who owns that dog. you cannot question the innocence it has in his eyes. the sweetness and the welcoming tail when you get home.

I like dogs.
I'm not a keen lover though and it does annoy me when owners can't take care of there dogs. (read my discussion regarding unknown dogs of a leash ~

What attracts me towards a dog is it's unconditional love for humans. They never judge a person once they accept them as their own.And what I like about the looks is their nose.It looks very cute, lol.

As a child I grew up with some lovely cats. I adored them but always dreamed of having a dog. I read books about dogs. I walked five little dogs for a family. I was told that dogs need lots of time. I replied that I would get a dog when I retired. But I just couldn't wait that long! I waited until my early thirties.
Moulting fur can upset my allergies so I decided to get a poodle. I chose the middle sized one. It is called a miniature poodle. I looked in my local paper and saw there were not any of this size available. I looked on the Internet and found a breeder further away with some for sale. She talked about a white one with black patches. I got this one. When I first saw him I fell in love. He was wagging his sale and he looked so lovely. Now I have his uncondtional love and companionship. Last year I bought another poodle and they get on very well indeed. I get much pleasure from seeing them play together.

i love dogs more than any pet there is. i admire their loyalty to their owners... they constant love and affection. the wagging of the tail when you get home from work or when you arrived from somewhere... makes you feel really welcome and missed. the sense of belongingness and the sense of feeling loved. the dog has it all. plus you can play with each other... you can run around and chase each other. or you can just sleep side by side. dogs really are fun and loyal creatures and i love dogs.

Dogs are beautiful creatures. They are also very intelligent. In my village we used to have one dog called Gene. It behaved like a human being. it would catch a wild game and drag it a nearby bush then it would lead some one to the scene. We in the village used to spread out millet and g.nuts to dry in the sun-Gene would sit by these items chasing all hens that would appear to waste the food being dried! It was a very favoured dog and every body in the family liked it!Dogs can be great!

For me it is the unconditional love that my dog gave me. It is also their expressions of love and happiness. I don't know how someone could be cruel to animals. I can not even watch the animal patrol shows on Animal Planet because it just makes me sick!

I had a dog several years ago. She was a black lab and I loved her very much. She was very smart and alot times I though of her like she was my child.LOL She had puppies and would load them all up in my car every week and take them all to my moms so I could do my laudry. And they all were so good. I also found a home for every one of them. Yes dogs are great company.

I am partial to the Rockwilder. I like a big mean dog. The rougher is plays the better I like him. These dogs are very loyal and after the age of three are usually a very protective dog. These dogs don't seem to shed so much either. I like the fact that these dogs are so impressive in looks. They have a large chest and powerfull legs. I don't like lap dogs or sad droopy eye dogs. I like strong.

These are all reasons why dogs are so special but I think the biggest reason is their unconditional love. Scold a dog for being bad and they don't hold it against you. Criticize a person and they may hold a grudge for years to a lifetime.

I used to always be a great cat lover. Until I met my first husband who had three dogs. Eventually when we lived together & married, and two of the dogs lived with us. I grww to love them. I think it is the way they follow follow me around & gaze at me with those adoring eyes.
One of our current dogs is very funny.
Yes, dogs are great pets.
But I still love cats.
