Cockroach,are you afraid of it?

This is an age of flooding rats and cockroaches.my bf and i sometimes face the hesitation of who's gonna kill the cockroach that runs around our apartment.i know its a rarely seen creature in western countries.but do you dont have it at all?here cockroaches just easily pop up when we leave some leftover the other day or carelessly forget to dump rubbish and keep it in room for a couple of days.i hate it but not afraid of it like many girls.whenever i see it i wont let it go but smack it by slipper or newspaper.they are harmful things so we should kill them for good,shouldnt we?
so have you ever seen cockroaches?what do you do with them?do you have a bug on killing them?:)

yes...i'm not only afraid of cockroach but i hate them..they are very dirty and i used to kill them if they are flying around our house..specially, when rain is coming, gosh!! they coming out, that i cant count them anymore...yucks!! me too, whenever i see them i wont also let them go but smack them by slipper and bamboo or whatever i can hold, my mother really love to kill them like she light a candle and little by little she pour the liquid part of the candle, until the cockroach die..lol i really hate them because they giving us disease coz they are very dirty..
