Too cool, very cool hobby. I wish you the best of luck. I know you're quite a way from here, but consider northern new england as one hunting ground. this place is a hot bed of activities, stories, legends, etc. Some very old places around here, older than anywhere else in the country. A lot of history as well. In any case, enjoy yourself.

That sounds exciting. I could never do that. I always freeze up and start crying when I get scared from seeing or hearing something that shouldn't be there. I read your blog, and that brought me close to home. There's a Naval base in Meridian, MS, that removed a large cemetary to make room for base housing. The graves were relocated to a new area, but I think the damage was already done. A lot of people would tell of stories of going to bed to wake up with every light on in there house, even in there bedroom. Other's would say that they were woken up to every door in the open position. After checking around and nothing was stolen, nor the front or back doors broken, they just blew it off. My husband worked at the Galley (kitchen) on base and had a strange encounter. While he was finishing up and was about to leave, the doors leading from the kitchen to the eating area flew open as if someone heavy pushed them. Those doors are heavy, so it wasn't no animal or the wind. I never had the lights or the doors playing games, but one night while online, I saw a figure in white standing right behind my right shoulder, as if they wanted to read what I was typing. I didn't actually see the figure, just saw a white gown, it faded away after I would say less than a minute.
Maybe your group will become as popular as the one called TAPS. I can't remember what episode it was, but the one where you could hear a little girl talking when nothing should be there was very creepy and at the same time very sad. Have fun Ghosthunting.

Keep us posted when you venture out again and leave a blog. I will let my hubby in on the action. Maybe you can convince him about the paranormal, maybe.

Awesome. Bookmarked it; nice slideshow. Have you ever considered doing rubbings of the stones you come across? No, nothing kinky .. just some charcoal pencils and tracing paper so you can capture the image without disturbing anything around it. The large circular stone looks like one of the many family headstones that were brought over from Europe. Can't be sure without seeing all the lettering.
Very impressive .. thanks for sharing!
