Fire or Water??

fire is energy while water is compound...both are powerful enough ...both can cause lots of destruction...again fire is the main pillar of human civilisation...yet water is more powerful i think so as water as a capability of giving life to others...without which there have been no civilisation on this beautiful world...

Comparing all different forms and actions each elemment can take I would have to lean towards WATER...
sure there are some fires, chemically induced ones, that water may not be able to extiguish directly, but b-products of water can...say if water were to freeze around the fire....
whereas fire in combating water would always just seemingly be relying on evaporation and maintaining the intensity of heat to do such an action....

Since some fire can not be get rid of by water, I have to say fire.
