is snape a snake?

we had this debate a long time ago and would like to know what you think about Severus Snape. Is he playing the bid of Voldemort or is he following the orders of Dumbledore? for he didn't kill Harry Potter but Dumbledore. it is just bloody confusing

No Snape is on the good side
He appears to be against Harry Potter and thus might be on the dark side along with Voldemort, but that is not the case.
He is a follower of Dumbledore
If he is so "mean" to Harry, it 's because of his father ... Snape and his father had a different ... so that is why Snape despises Harry but he is on the good side though ... I don't know which books or movies you have seen so far, but you will know more about that situation in the books
