What to do when you have unresolved discussions with no answers?

I have some unresolved discussions and I really want to mark a best answer so that it can be resolved.
I have quite a few discussions that are fairly old and I can't get them out of my unresolved section because of this:(
What do you do?
Do you just let them in your unresolved folder?

Do you mean choosing the best answer? In this case I have discussions that are not resolved. When a discussion has 0 responses I just let it be and maybe one day somebody would answer. But I don't contact my friends to answer. Sometimes I have discussions that do have answers but I just can't chose the best response yet. So I wait until I receive a good answer and I choose it for best answer. But I do rate everybody who answers my discussions with a plus to thank them for their time.

HI again smellsyummy. I guess sometimes I don't read well the question... You are asking what we do when we have an unresolved discussion with NO answer... Well I have few of those but I don't think we can do anything about it because there is no answer to chose! So I just leave them like that unresolved.

Well, it looks like you solved your problem by asking what to do about unresolved discussions! I went to your profile to see if I could help you out, and it looks like you have at least one response to each of your discussions now. Good Job.

there is a faster solution to this. instead of waiting for somebody to spot that unresolved discussion of yours, contact your referral or a friend here in mylot to post a response to it. i am sure that pretty soon, you will find it responded to.

Well, I have a few myself with only a couple of posts and none are Good enough I feel to give them a Best Response yet either. Maybe you need to find some Friends on here who will take the time to check out all of your discussions and maybe answer the ones with no answers and help somehow try and get them moving again?

Usually I find if you wait a little longer someone will answer to it and then you can pick a best response . Sometimes it takes some time to get an answer that you believe to be worth quality but you never know when it will strike back up again and take off and get quite a few best answers that you will have to choose from .
Best of luck .

It's actually pretty common for me to just not select the best response for everything. I have quite a few discussions that I believe never got any responses. I just let them sit there (sadly). I'm always sad when my discussions don't get any responses.

if this happens to me, i will send a message to my referral so she/he can post a response to those discussions. then, another one to a most reliable mylot friend.

Does it really bother you that much to have unresolved discussions?
I have a few, but I'm not worried, if there's no best response, then that's that.
and if you really want to choose a best answer, then do so! (It may not be a GREAT answer, but if it's better than the rest, I guess it's honest to say it's the best answer you've got)
Good luck on you unresolved issues. =)
