How do you know that you are a writer?

One thing that i am sure about is that i can express! Does that make me a writer? I enjoy writing things of my mind like quotes, "Determinism is a character force", "Language is a form of communication", "There is no language...

some psychologists believe that when the gap between your ideal self and yourself increases, you become more depressed. Why?
