Would you? Have you? If you had a relative in need of a place to live, would you open your home to them? Would there be conditions? Limits? What if this person had no resources with which to get themselves back on their own again?...

He says "you're awesome"...

My little boy says, "mama, you're awesome" about 10 times a day. How privileged I am to have such a sweet boy. I think about how, one day, he may be a husband to one very lucky girl. Oh to be able to keep them little forever!

Don't call me "dude"

When did saying "dude" before a sentence become appropriate? "I am your mother, I am not a dude", I tell them. They act exasperated as if I don't understand the meaning of the word dude. I know what it means! Do they? Dude!
