rebelslady07 You are right about optimism. We are going to be in the "sandbox" for years to come. I pray for all our men and women in uniform and their families.

rebelslady07 Thanks for responding. I'm glad to see other military wives on here. Sometimes I just don't know what I'm doing since this is our first deployment.

rebelslady07 Thank you very much. It is a stressful time for us and many military families. I do ignore the ignorants as I keep in my mind that it is our sacrifices that allow them to have their beliefs. God Bless!

Anyone else in the military or military spouse? We are gearing up for hubby's first deployment. I'm really hating the thought of him being gone that long to a war zone, but this is his job and he has to do it. I will be on my own...

rebelslady07 Thanks so much for the kind words. I hear such negative things about our troops and it makes me mad. I'm also very proud of my husband. I know we will all be ok while he's gone.
