Effexor withdrawl, getting off

Hi, I want to get off all of my meds. Has anyone had success tappering off of Effexxor? I've heard a lot of bad stories?

Yoshi_ I don't think it's too bad to be on an anti-depressant for a long time, if it helps you then why not? I know how awful the withdrawals are, if I forget a dose I feel like I am going to die, and that's no exaggeration :( I'd like to stop taking it and go on...
