There are many linux distros among them which is the most popular . according to my openion debian is the best one because it is the best one and the stable one . but it is not having a glamorous look as the ubuntu is having ....

salman_rule yes truly this is a most common issue discussed between linux user's and developers.. well what i think as long as you know to use it and enjoy it. it doesn't matter. For those people that want to play with linux and learn some new stuff I'd prefer use both...
