My friends want to get me started playing WarHammer 40k. They say its an amazing game, and i would be really into it. I wan to play but is it really worth all the money and whats a good starting army?

samy65 if you like stagety games then you might like warhammer 40k but it is costly and time consuming. but if your up for it i agree with clutterbug try eBay for some deals.
