Males vs. Females In Reaching Maturity

They say that females reach maturity (emotional and mental maturity, in this case) faster than males. Is this why women tend to date older men? Then what about the recent cougar fads out there?

sapphireoasis I'd LOVE to reverse my sleeping schedule, but I still gotta go to school :T Strict schedules = end up reading. You know what I mean, you hypocrite :D
