I have trouble with quotation marks at the end of a sentence, when it only includes the final words of the sentence or question. It looks strange to me to have the quotation mark outside the period or after a comma. How does it...

scott18 The first three do not call for quotes all together. Those sentences are complete without them and although you may wish to emphasize a finger quote if you were speaking sarcastically, that really is not appropriate in writing (unless it's a play manuscript)....
