I have a 4 yr old step-daughter and she still has a problem with pee-ing in the night. We have mattress covers but its such a pain having to wash them continuously. Anyone got any tips on how to make it stop? Thanks M17

I know how stressful this stage is, both for you and for your step-daughter. My daughter is 5, and we are also going through the same problem. We can only do so much to help them. At this age some children can't hold their bladders. And some sleep too soundly...

I have a 4 yr old step-daughter and she still has a problem with pee-ing in the night. We have mattress covers but its such a pain having to wash them continuously. Anyone got any tips on how to make it stop? Thanks M17

try this one out... avoid giving her anything to drink just hours before she goes to bed. also, let her pee before she goes to bed. the normal cycle of "peeing time" is between 4 to 6 hours, you might want to wake her up after those hours when she's already...

I hate to say this but she IS only 4....cut her some slack...buy a mattress protector and do things like cut back on her drinks at night and wake her up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom...other than that I would make such a huge deal of it...

i think the best would be to befriend ur step kid.. become her friend an it wont seem like a chore to spend time with her.. u ll also feel happy to spend money on her.. bringin a smile on a kids face can make the whole day seem brighter..

I don't know what the laws are in your country, but every parent should pay child support if they are not giving daily care to their child. Sperm donners should be responsible. You should have your girlfriend check into the support laws.

Well for starters you should tell you you're girlfriend this. And it isn't fair that the real dad gets to see her and doesn't give money for food or clothes or whatever. I think he should take her to live her for some days of the week.
