Queer as Folk - do you think it portrays gay life realistically?

I loved the TV show Queer as Folk, especially as I used to go to Canal Street in Manchester and knew people who were just like some of the characters. Do you think it was a realistic portrayal of gay lifestyles today?

Guys - do you wear any make up? I use lip gloss, foundation, fake tan - all sorts of cosmetics What about you? And gilrs, do you think a guy is less masculine if he wears makeup even if he is straight?

I'm gay and I'm proud! Too many people seem ashamed to admit it but unless we come out of the closet, people will never accept and understand us. So who else is gay and proud?
