Help !!! My Computer screen blinks !!!!?

The problem is my monitor screen blinks, it goes off (totally blank) for about 1 sec. or so and comes back automatically, this disturbs a lot. There is no periodicity in this, sometimes very frequent. The pc is attached with UPS,...
