My oldest daughter turned 13 and some days I feel so close to her then others I feel this great rift of distance between us. I know this is normal but I want that closeness for all time lol Im stingy I guess.

staceybug I am right there with you. My oldest is 13 also. She can be like a best friend one day and others wants nothing to do do with me. I agree I enjoy the close times.

staceybug staying home is more difficult than working. I can not stay at home with my children. We have done fine; however, things would have been different if I could have stayed home.
